Akrapovič
Speed Challenge at Red Bull Erzbergrodeo
Akrapovič will
again be presenting the Akrapovič Speed Challenge at this year’s Red Bull
Erzbergrodeo ‒ an ultimate speed test with a cash prize for the winner.
Akrapovič has
been partnering the event since 2019, and the Slovenian manufacturer of exhaust
systems for motorcycles and premium cars considers the demands of Red Bull
Erzbergrodeo in Styria, Austria, a perfect arena to showcase the durability and
reliability of its lightweight titanium exhaust systems, alongside their build
quality, smooth power delivery, and throttle response. All of these are
features that have led to many top teams and riders using Akrapovič exhausts at
the event, including Red Bull KTM Factory Racing with Manuel Lettenbichler, a
reigning FIM Hard Enduro World Champion.
Taking place
over four days from 30 May to 2 June, the event is the second round of this
year’s FIM Hard Enduro World Championship, and it is regarded as one of the
most punishing motorcycle races in the world. This year’s spectacle will again
feature the Akrapovič Speed Challenge, a special discipline in which the
competitors will race over a timed (unmarked) section of the prologue to
determine the fastest rider. The winner will take the honour of being the
quickest and will be rewarded with a cash prize of €1,500 and a trophy at
Saturday’s winner’s ceremony.
The Akrapovič
Speed Challenge is ideally connected with the Akrapovič brand because it is
about speed and performance, two attributes closely associated with the
Slovenian company. The Akrapovič Speed Challenge will have live timing, so
everybody will be able to see who is the current fastest rider and the final
Akrapovič Speed Challenge champion of the 2024 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo Prologue.
All you need to
take this honour is to go full throttle!
